Tealight Safety

The Silver Candle Company's tealights are environmentally friendly and clean burning (no soot and no nasties).  They will burn for approximately 4 hours but as they are small they will only give off a very subtle scent. Our intention in offering tealights is for you to be able to select your favourite fragrances.

 

We want you to enjoy your tealights as safely as possible so please take note of the following:

 

How to burn your tealights safely:

 

1. Place your tealights in an appropriate tealight holder

2. Light your tealights in a well-ventilated room

3. Keep away from children and pets.

4. Never burn the tealights on or close to anything that could catch fire.

5. Only burn the tealights on a level, fire resistant surface.

6. Keep the wax pool clear of any foreign materials such as wick trimmings and matches, as debris in the wax can act as a secondary wick, encouraging your candle to burn faster.

7. Never leave burning candles unattended.
